What happens when a master perfumer and a chef decide to cook something up together? This is what the most curious gourmets will discover when they take their places at "La Montecchia", Friday, February 22, 2008. Playing this concerto for "four hands", is the chef Massimiliano Alajmo (www.alajmo.it) and master perfumer Lorenzo Dante Ferro, "nose" of international fame, known also in the music world for having created the olfactive notes which accompanied concerts of famous recording artists. This time the theater hosting the performance will be the kitchen of "La Montecchia" and the olfactive notes will take the place of the musical notes. The results will be a tasting of a very particular menu, in which the perfumes created expressly for Massimiliano Alajmo by Lorenzo will be exalted by the extraordinary dishes of the chef. |

Lorenzo Dante Ferro has created a perfume that combines the local colours of Lignano Sabbiadoro with its surrounding lush and spontaneous vegetation. Profumo d'aMare is a fresh accord of green and acquamarine notes that recall sea pines, orange flowers and the notes of salty sea breeze with Mediterranean citrus notes of Bergamot and Golden Lemon to represent the sun highlighted with nuances of Juniper, Thyme and Rosemary. |
